State-by-State: Alabama

Niner Report hits the trail around the country and take a look at some of the recruits around the country from each class and state. Our first stop is the state of Alabama, as there are a few prospects that hold offers from the state, including one of the top linebackers in the country for 2017.

CLASS OF 2017

Linebacker Will Ignont

Ignont is one of the top linebackers in the country, ranked No. 2 in his posiiton and No. 55 nationally. At the Rival Camp in Atlanta, he mentioned his Top Five which was Georgia, Notre Dame, LSU, UCLA, and Alabama have all risen near the top and could be the ones to beat. He recently took a visit to Alabama and the visit seemed to go really well. He has other visits planeed but Charlotte seems to be out of the picture for this young man.

Linebacker Tadarrius Patterson

Patterson is another linebacker from the state of Alabama and even though he is ranked as a 2-star, he has the eyes of several high-major programs including programs like Auburn, Louisville, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and several otheres. He recently said that Louisville is the leader right now.
