What Was Said:

"I am very excited about the Charlotte offer," he said. "I've been in contact with Coach Adkins and the offer actually occured over the phone."

Atkeson holds interesting offers from some of the top academic schools in the country and could be on the verge of gaining offers from more programs down the road. He didn't attend Junior Day at Charlotte but he hopes that he can make it to a practice at some point down the road.

As far as other visits though, he has attended Virginia and NC State in the past week.
