Charlotte landed a nice piece in wide receiver Chris Wiggins, who is an in-state 3-star product from Grimsley high school in Greensboro.
He announced late Thursday night on his decision, saying:
"First and foremost, I want to thank God because I know this wouldn't be possible without him. I also want to thank my family and coaches for being there for me and giving me the opportunity to play at the next level. After further thought, I have verbally committed to Charlotte. Go Niners!"
This past season, Wiggins recorded 27 receptions for 426 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
